FAQs
Who are You?
We are the leaders in strategic sourcing, have a no nonsense business acumen, and are a game changer for our clients. We specialize in sourcing NEW business and data center class servers, storage and networking for VARs.
Where is Wired Located?
We have a 10,000 square foot facility adjacent to the John Wayne airport in Costa Mesa, California. We warehouse $3M of new, current server, storage and networking products. Our in-house configuration team of manufacturer authorized service technicians builds business and data center hardware to specification so we can consistently deliver to our customers a quality turnkey product.
What Product Conditions Do You Offer?
We lead with NEW, and if we have availability constraint or the customer indicates extreme pricing sensitivity, we will explore and present alternate conditions such as MFG re-certified or refurbished.
What Warranty Does Your Product Have?
Ninety-five percent of the products we sell are new, carry the full manufacturer warranty, and are eligible for manufacturer support agreements. Any non-new products are backed by our 3-year distributor warranty.
What is Your Return Policy?
When comparing the return policy language of all the Tier 1 distributors you’ll find ours the most liberal. In addition, the authorization of a return is ultimately left to the discretion of your sales rep and we want you happy so we will likely take anything back, within reason.
What are Your Lead Times?
We’re twice as fast as the fastest distributor and 66% faster than HP direct. Our standard lead time to build, test and ship a configured server is 3-5 days. If you need it faster just let us know. If there are any constrained items on your configuration, we’ll let you know a revised lead time in advance.
What is Your Configuration Process?
The pre-configuration team pulls your order from our stock and QCs it for accuracy against the work order. The product is unboxed and staged for assembly. Our HP authorized technicians do a second QC verifying the configuration is valid, assemble the hardware to the specifications on the work order under a video camera to capture the process, update all firmware to current revision, run HP Diagnostic test trouble shooting and resolving any errors, save current test log and survey log, take photos of the finished build, place hardware back into the original packaging, label with the Bill of Materials and ship in a protective sleeve.
How Do You Do It?
We are able to achieve our costing advantage by: buying in volume, buying for stock, fully realizing manufacturer end of quarter marketing promotions and utilizing the experience and network of relationships we’ve developed over the past 20+ years.
